to in error as "clips") we offer are available to fit Mini 14, Mini 30,
and Ranch Rifles. Ruger
Mini 14 .223 magazines are available in 5, 10, 20, and 30 round
capacity. Mini
Thirty (Mini-30) magazines are available in 5, 10, and 30 round
capacity. The new Mini
14 6.8mm SPC caliber magazines are available in 5, 10, and 20 round
capacity. Ruger now makes high capacity (hicap) mags for their Mini's.
The reliability and quality of Ruger's mags is unquestionable. No one
we know has ever found a defective, Ruger-made mag for the Mini's. There are often capacity restrictions in various areas, these
days. If you hunt "big game," please check your local laws for capacity
restrictions before using anything larger than 5 round mags. In most
parts of the United States, plinking, varmint hunting, and target
shooting can be done legally with 10 round, or greater, capacity.
Examples of States where high capacity (greater than 10 rounds),
centerfire rifle mags may no longer be sold or imported
are California, Massachusetts, Hawaii, and New York. Thanks to the
continuing
efforts of global gun banners, things may get even worse in the future
for
American and international gun owners. Outside the United States, a 5 round magazine is sometimes the
largest capacity rifle mag that can legally be used or owned. Canada is
one example of a country that has banned public ownership of centerfire
rifle magazines than can hold greater than 5 rounds. We do offer
